Accounting Onboarding and Introduction - Canada

In order to view Accounting information, you will need to get access to Canada Vendor Portal, which is the only method available for viewing account details and filing claims.

* Warehouseman Legal: Required insurance for IML staff is covered.

Short Shipment Claims

Best Buy Canada’s process flow is as follows:

  1. The Short shipment has been approved by Vendor. (This also includes RTS to the vendors warehouse and floor denials.)
  2. Order Management team processes a return using customer’s original invoice so the short shipped item is removed directly from the customer’s order.
    • Order Management team takes the SKU and moves the stock to variance.
  3. Accounting is notified and they process the offset on their end for short payment to reflect onto Vendor’s account and remove the variance from our system.
