Visual Merchandising Manager (VMM) Vendor Requirements

The purpose of this guide is to provide our vendor partners with some key insight and basic requirements related to all Vendor Provided displays/fixturing/parts & pieces going into our retail stores.

Purpose:

Visual Merchandise Manager (VMM) application brings together data from disparate teams to provide a cohesive visual interface used by retail store employees to accurately and efficiently set product in the store. VMM supports 5,500 unique employee users. Each Visual Merchandiser is responsible for field direction for an average of five major categories, which averages 780 planogram versions that transition product on average 20 times a year in each category.

The purpose of this guide is to provide our vendor partners with some key insight and basic requirements that Best Buy has related to all Vendor Provided displays/fixturing/parts & pieces going into our retail stores.

All Vendor Requirements are due at -5 week of MKD. If the MKD -5 milestone is not met, the project will be pushed to an alternate transition date.
