The Government of Québec has finalized the regulatory framework for the mandatory Warranty of Good Working Order introduced under Bill 29, An Act to protect consumers from planned obsolescence and to promote the durability, repairability, and maintenance of goods. This new regime comes into force on October 5, 2026.
