Best Buy is making it more convenient than ever for the millions of Americans with mild to moderate hearing loss to get the products and support they need by offering over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids now on BestBuy.com and in nearly 300 Best Buy stores by the end of the month.

The expanded assortment of hearing devices at Best Buy now includes nearly 20 OTC hearing aids, personal sound amplification products (PSAPs), TV amplifiers and hearing accessories from some of the most trusted brands in the space. Devices will range anywhere from $200-$3,000 for a pair.

“Our new in-store hearing experience and expanded selection of over-the-counter (OTC) hearing aids, PSAPs and TV amplifiers makes the process of getting a hearing device more approachable and affordable,” says Jason Bonfig, chief merchandising officer at Best Buy. “We’re helping our customers find the hearing solution that is right for them by offering best-in-class options at prices that are often significantly less than they might have paid traditionally. All from the convenience of a select Best Buy store or while shopping on BestBuy.com.”

Before buying a device, customers are encouraged to complete the new online hearing assessment tool, powered by our partners at hearX, that will help them identify their specific level of hearing loss and give them an idea of which hearing solution might best fit their needs.

When shopping in one of our select stores, customers can get assistance from our Best Buy Blue Shirts, who will have gone through training on topics like the anatomy of the ear, stages of hearing loss, general fitting techniques and different features of various devices and brands. This training is in partnership with our expert partners, who are leaders in the hearing device category, and will ensure Best Buy employees feel confident when explaining to customers the specific features of each device.

The new in-store hearing experience will include the following devices:

  • Sony CRE-C10 Self-Fitting OTC Hearing Aids
