Best Buy earns top score on 2023 Disability Equality IndexPublished 06/30/2023
Best Buy was named a 2023 “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion” with a score of 100 by the Disability Equality Index (DEI). It’s the ninth year in a row we’ve made the list.
The index is a comprehensive benchmarking tool that recognizes commitment toward disability equality practices and helps companies build a roadmap of actions that they can take to achieve inclusion and equality in the workplace.
We are proud to be recognized for such factors as: culture and leadership, enterprise-wide access, employment practices, community engagement, supplier diversity, and non-U.S. operations.
The DEI was launched in 2015 by Disability:IN, the global business disability inclusions network, and The American Association of People with Disabilities, the nation’s largest disability rights organization. The DEI is acknowledged today as the most robust disability inclusion assessment tool in business.
This year 485 companies were analyzed on a scale of zero to 100, with those earning a score of 80 and above recognized as a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.”
