As part of our commitment to racial equity and inclusion in Canada, we are proud to announce our support of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada’s Anti-Racism Initiative.

By taking part in this initiative, we are excited to be able to amplify the work being done by our long-term partner, serving kids and teens from 775 diverse communities. Their core values—Belonging, Respect, Encouragement and Support, Working Together, Speaking Out—are built around inclusion and we are proud of the work that they are doing to empower youth in our communities.

How does it work?

• This program will provide microgrants to support youth-led anti-racism initiatives in Canada.
• Initiatives may include events, workshops, or activities to promote equality and inclusion.
• It’s a for-youth, by-youth model, which means that BGC kids propose ideas and the best are chosen by the BGCC National Youth Council—15 young community leaders nominated from Clubs across Canada.
