Best Buy has thousands of products already published that you can simply add offers to. This will save your team immense time and resources by eliminating the product set up steps. See Check for existing items in Best Buy’s catalog.
If you have a few products where a bulk check is not needed, follow the steps below to upload a single offer.
To search for a single product or to start selling a product that already exists in Best Buy’s catalog, follow the instructions below to set up a single offer.
- Log in to the Best Buy Marketplace portal and navigate to the Price and stock section.
- Click on Offers, then find and select the + Add offer button located at the top right of the page.
- Under Search for a product in our catalog, enter the product's name, brand, model number or UPC to locate the product you want to list.
- Once you've found the product, select + Sell yours.
- Complete the required fields of Stock quantity, Condition and Price.
- Please note: Offer SKU is optional. A value will be assigned if the field is left blank. We recommend using the UPC or another unique identifier for your store to manage your offers more efficiently.
- The remaining fields are optional. See Offer attribute descriptions (subsection below) for more information.

To add multiple offers to existing listings using a bulk upload method, follow these step-by-step instructions:
- Log in to the Best Buy Marketplace portal and navigate to the Price and stock section.
- Under File Imports, download the Excel template under Offers on the right side of the page.
- After downloading, select Generate template. Once it's ready, click Download.
- Open the downloaded Excel template and fill out the mandatory fields for your offers.
See Offer attribute descriptions (subsection below) for more information.
Note that quantity is optional, but highly recommended. Leaving it blank will default your quantity to 0 and offers will be deactivated due to out of stock.
- Once you've completed the template, save it to your computer.
- Return to the Best Buy Marketplace portal, go to Price and stock, and click on File imports.
- On the Import file tab, under Source, select the file you just filled out. Ensure File content is set to Offers and Import mode is set to Normal.
- Click Import to add the offers.
Use the discount fields when setting up an offer to display additional savings. See Promotional offers using discount price for more information.
You can check the status of your offers after uploading them to the Marketplace portal. Navigate to File imports to see the status of your uploads under Track Offer Imports.
An error report will be available for download if there are any issues with your file. See the next section, Resolving offer import issues and errors for more information on common errors from Mirakl.
Please note that active offers in your Mirakl Back Office may not always be reflected on bestbuy.com if multiple sellers have offers on the product or if your offer was rejected. See Offer rejections from Best Buy (subsection below) for more information..
- In the left menu bar, go to Price and stock, then File imports and then to Track Offer Imports.
- Hover over the "i" icon to see details of the import. Refer to screenshot below. Click on the menu icon to download the Error Report. The errors are listed in the last columns of the row in the Excel file.
- Any lines that have errors represent offers that were not added/updated to the product. Please refer to Mirakl’s help articles for any additional guidance:.
Updating, editing or cancelling a single offer
- Log in to the Best Buy Marketplace portal and navigate to the Price and stock section then Offers.
- Use the Filter section to find your offer by Offer, Product, or Catalog filters then click Refresh.
- On the far right of the offer, click the “…” to see more options. Select either Edit price or Delete offer. You can also manually adjust the Quantity.
- Within Edit price, you can change the price, discount price, and/or discount validity periods.
- Important note: Do not edit the condition or state of an offer. Changing the condition of an existing offer will result in a rejection from Best Buy. If you need to change the condition, you must delete the offer and create a new one.
Updating, editing or cancelling offers in bulk
Using the offer template, you can update all offers when there are price or inventory changes. We recommend using a consistent product identifier as the Offer SKU so that offer changes tie back to the previous offer. If a new offer is created with a different offer SKU, it may be rejected by Best Buy if it overlaps with any existing offer for the same product. You will be notified of all offer rejections via email from Best Buy Marketplace or within your Mirakl messages.
To manage existing offers, follow the instructions below:
- Go to Price and Stock > Offers.
- Use the button on the right side to download a “ready to import” inventory file as CSV or XSLX.
- This will show you all existing offers in the offer template format.
- Use the Export button to review all offers and their inactivity reasons, if applicable.
- Make any changes to price, quantity, dates or logistics classes.
- Don’t change the offer SKU.
- An existing offer’s state or condition can’t be changed.
- Save your file and upload from Price and Stock > File Imports > Import file.
- Use Track offer imports to track the status of your upload.
Managing offer updates this way will reduce the chance of submitting duplicate or overlapping offers that will be rejected by Best Buy.
If any offers overlap with existing offers, they’ll be rejected by Best Buy. You’ll be notified of all offer rejections via email from BestBuy Marketplace.
Please be aware of the following:
- If you’d like to update offers, you must use the same offer SKU as the existing offer. You may update the price, quantity, availability dates and more.
- You can’t edit an offer’s condition or state. If you need to update the condition from New to Refurbished – Excellent, or vice versa, you must delete the offer and submit a new one.
- If you need to change offer SKU(s), any existing offers must be deleted before new offers are added.
