Published Jul 22, 2025
Best Buy has thousands of products already published that you can start selling by uploading an offer with your inventory and price information. This will save a great deal of time and resources by eliminating product setup steps.
Follow the instructions below using the offer template to quickly check how many of your products already exist.
- Before you begin, have the UPCs of the products you wish to sell on Best Buy Marketplace ready to go.
- Log into the Best Buy Marketplace portal and navigate to Price and stock > File imports.
- On the right side, within File Templates, click the Excel template link under Offers.
- From the Templates page, ensure the template type is Offers and click Generate template.
- Once complete, a link to Download will appear within the Last generated template section.
- Open the downloaded Excel template and fill out the mandatory fields (shown in red), as follows:
- Paste all your product UPCs or EANs into Column A for Offer SKU.
- Offer SKU can be a unique value of your choice. We recommend using UPC, model number or another consistent identifier to reduce errors.

- Paste all your product UPCs or EANs, also referred to as GTIN, into Column B for Product ID.
- In column D, use the dropdown to select GTIN as the Product ID Type for all lines.
- Enter your Offer Price in column F. You can use your current selling price or a placeholder value. If using a placeholder value, ensure the Offer Quantity in the next step is set to 0.
- Column H for Offer Quantity is optional. We recommend setting this to 0 if you’re not ready to start selling products but want to see how much of your catalog already exists. Offers are deactivated when the quantity = 0.
- In column J, select the Offer State, or condition, as New or Refurbished Excellent.
- If selling refurbished, please review our secondary products guidelines.

- Click Import.
- A status banner should appear at the top to say your file is uploading. To track the status, go to Track offer imports.
- You’ll see Status and Errors columns. Once the status shows Import complete, check the Errors column to download the error report, if available.
- The information icon will give you a summary of your import.
- If there are no errors, all your products already exist in Best Buy’s catalog. You can proceed with reuploading the offer template with accurate prices and quantities. See Create offers for existing products for more information and definitions of other fields.
- If there are no other errors with your import, there will be an error message of “The product does not exist” for any items that are new to Best Buy’s catalog. For these items, follow the steps in Create products and offers.
- All items that aren’t on the error report were successful. Go to Price and stock > Offers to review your active offers.
- If you put a quantity of 0 in the offer template, the offers will be deactivated. You can reupload the offer template with accurate quantity and price information to make the offers active.
- The information icon will give you a summary of your import.
You can repeat these steps any time you’d like to check if new products you want to sell already exist on Best Buy. If you need to check only a few products, you can manually search through Mirakl by going to Price and stock > Offers > Add offer and using the Search for a Product in our Catalog.
