How do I gain access to LMS?
Follow the instructions outlined in the "How to Get Access" section of this User Guide, which will take you to the LMS Registration Form.
- If your company is new to the Learning Management System, you will follow the prompts in the registration form to register your company and also add users of the system.
- If your company is already registered on the Learning Management System, you will follow the prompts to bypass the company registration and add users.
To access LMS, you need a Vendor User account, or V-ID, for the Partner Portal and other systems and applications such as LMS. The registration process encompasses both creating a V-ID (if you don't already have one) as well as LMS access.
What is a VSA, or Vendor Security Admin?
Vendor Security Admins, or VSAs, are responsible for managing Users and Application Access at your company. Each company typically has at least two VSAs.
You can view your company VSAs in Vendor Identity ("List of VSAs").
If you do not have access to Vendor Identity, contact the Partner Support Team for assistance.
How do I reset my password?
If you already have a Vendor ID (VID) and LMS access, but need to reset your password, go to Vendor Identity login page, click "Forgot Password" and follow the prompts.
If you still need assistance with your access or password, contact the Partner Support Team.
I'm receiving an error message when logging in, what should I do?
Please attempt to troubleshoot your issues by:
- Ensure you are using Chrome to log in. Chrome is the preferred browser for Best Buy systems and applications.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies (found under Settings > Privacy and Security). Be sure to clear your cache and cookies for "All Time".
