To facilitate a fast and cost effective E-Business solution with our non-EDI capable partners, we have teamed with EasyLink Services International Corporation to develop Web-enabled EDI.

Best Buy understands that system capabilities vary with each of our vendors and as a result, we are excited to offer an alternative designed for vendors who have not developed in-house electronic commerce solutions such as EDI. Vendors will subscribe to this on-line service by registering with EasyLink Services, our partner in this initiative.


New User - Registration

Vendors will be billed directly by EasyLink Services on a monthly basis and payment options will be offered as described in the Services Agreement. To begin using EasyLink, follow these simple instructions.

  1. Read the Services Agreement linked below, and "Click Here" to Agree.
  2. Provide your company information such as address, contact name, email, etc.
  3. Select the transaction(s) you wish to trade (PO/ASN/INV and/or Routing Instructions).
  4. Select a payment type.
  5. Choose a username and password.
  6. Once your registration is complete, Best Buy will contact you shortly thereafter via e-mail or phone, to notify you of the date you will begin using this service to trade business documents.

To successfully register and login, the authorized Best Buy partner needs:

  • A valid account number (your Best Buy vendor number)
  • Password
  • Internet access and a standard web browser (such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer) and Internet access.

If a partner should need assistance locating an Internet Access Provider, they may contact EasyLink Services' Enrollment Team at 1-800-342-4401 for a recommended provider.

With the ease of pointing and clicking at a desktop computer, a partner can view, print and save Best Buy purchase orders on-line. Also, partners can send Best Buy invoices and ASN's, easily and quickly from their desktop, without disrupting internal systems. Select partners may also view Product Sales and Inventory Information and receive Routing Instructions.

The EasyLink site is best viewed with the following minimal requirements:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.0 or higher
  • Computer monitor resolution configured at 800x600 pixels and supports 256 colors

Based on your registration, you will be able to receive your Best Buy POs, Routing Instructions Information or Sales Information electronically as well as create transactions such as ASNs and Invoices or Requests for Routing Instructions when applicable.
