Best Buy named one of the Best Employers for New Graduates

Published 05/26/2021

For the third year in a row, Best Buy has been named one of Forbes’ Best Employers for New Graduates.

This list identifies the companies that young professionals would most highly recommend to family and friends. They were asked to rate their employers based on criteria such as their workplace experience, career opportunities, and the values and purpose of the company.

We’re proud to be recognized by Forbes with this latest honor. Additionally, the magazine has named Best Buy to its lists of America’s Best Employers for Diversity, America’s Best Large Employers, and America’s Best Employers for Women.

A winning culture

Best Buy is dedicated to being one of the best places to work in America. We offer a wide variety of benefits, including a generous employee discount, 401(k) retirement plan, paid caregiver leave, mental health resources, backup child care, and adoption, infertility, and surrogacy support.

We’re also a company with a purpose — to enrich lives through technology. We also strive to have a positive impact on the world through our sustainability and social impact programs.

We’re hiring

Last August, we announced an ambitious two-year goal to hire more than 1,000 new employees to our technology team. We committed that 30% of these new hires will be diverse — specifically Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and women. Employees hired for these positions will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Minneapolis, as well as our tech centers in Boston, San Diego, and Seattle.

About the list

Forbes partnered with the market research firm Statista to compile the list of Best Employers for New Graduates by surveying more than 20,000 young professionals across the U.S.
