Accessing Sponsored Products Reporting in My Ads
Understanding how your Sponsored Products campaigns perform is key to optimizing your advertising strategy. My Ads provides robust reporting tools that give you insights into impressions, clicks, spend, and conversions; all in one place. In this article, we will walk you through where to find these reports within the platform and how to access the data you need to measure success and make informed decisions.
How To Access Reporting in My Ads
Here’s how to successfully set up your campaign:
- To view your Sponsored Products reporting, log in to your My Ads account and navigate to the Reporting section. You can find this by selecting Reports from the main navigation menu.
- From the reporting drop-down, click “All campaigns". This will display a list of all your current campaigns.
- To view detailed reporting for a specific campaign, simply click on its title.
- After selecting the campaign you would like to review, you’ll see options to view and customize its data. In the Single Campaign View screen, use the ellipses menu in the top-right corner to toggle different metrics on the trend line graph.
- Scroll down to explore the available tabs, each offering a different slice of data. There are four options to choose from:
- Product: Shows how each advertised SKU performs in terms of impressions, clicks, spend, and sales. It provides clear visibility into product‑level contribution, helping identify top performers and areas for optimization within a campaign.
- Keyword: Displays the top 1,000 keywords ranked by delivered spend. This view helps to understand which search terms are driving engagement with active sponsored product SKUs and their relative importance to overall campaign performance.
- Placement: Shows where sponsored product listings are displayed across our site. These placements include the Homepage carousel, product detail page (PDP), cart recommendation engines, search autocomplete, and in‑grid browse listings. This view helps users understand which placements resonate most with customers.
- Platform: Shows performance across BestBuy.com’s three platforms: Large View (desktop browsers), mApp (Best Buy mobile app), and Small View (mobile web browsers). This view helps illustrate how customers browse and purchase sponsored products across different devices. Typically, click‑through rates are higher on mobile apps and mobile web, while return on ad spend (ROAS) is stronger on desktop, reflecting the common pattern where shoppers browse on mobile but complete purchases on desktop.
- You can also use the “Modify Columns Menu” to customize the metrics for these views.
- To adjust the reporting timeframe, use the date picker to choose either a preset or a custom range. Once your selection is made, click Apply to update the view.
- To download this report, click the download icon found in the upper-right corner, next to the date range selector. Users can download a formatted report or a raw data report.
