2nd and 3rd Party Labor In-Store Guidelines and Trainings

Best Buy has aligned our safety procedures to be inclusive of our entire workforce including vendors and providers. We are providing our 2nd and 3rd Party Labor In-Store Guidelines to ensure everyone keeps safety as their number one priority.

In addition, here are the current visitor guidelines for the types of activities that 2nd and 3rd Party Labor teams perform, effective 3/7/2021. Every visit must include the health screening:

  • Assisted Sales programs can have representatives visit up to two stores per day.
  • Approved Training programs can have representatives visit up to three stores per day.
  • Approved Demonstration programs can have representatives visit up to one store per day, only in stores with Best Buy Category Sales Enablement alignment.
  • Merchandising programs can have representatives visit multiple stores per day.

The Best Buy Learning Network Vendor Hub extends trainings to our Second and Third Party Labor Partners. These four trainings will make sure that everyone supporting Best Buy stores has the same expectations for keeping themselves and everyone around them safe, along with understanding how everyone works towards helping the customer:

  • COVID-19 Safety Training
  • In-Store Consultations – Sales
  • Second and Third Party Induction
  • Digital Tools: Best Buy Customer App Tips and Tricks Part 1 

Vendors can access these trainings via https://vendor.bbylearningnetwork.com with their Vendor ID (V-ID). All 2PL and 3PL representatives must have an active V-ID. Please work with your VSA to get a V-ID generated in order to be granted access to Best Buy locations.

After your whole team has passed all three courses (and yes, there are quizzes at the end), the next step will be to confirm with your Best Buy contacts that your teams will be able to meet the guidelines at all times. After that, we will coordinate with you about a re-entry date. 
Please do not send your teams into our stores until you have coordinated with Best Buy. We want to make sure store teams receive communication from us and are ready for the additional support that your teams will be providing.

 



Health Screening

Anyone visiting Best Buy will be required to complete a health screening, which can be completed up to 3 hours prior to the visit on a mobile device at: https://bby.me/screening.

If you pass the screening, you will receive a green check mark on your mobile device that can be shown to the Best Buy leader upon your arrival.
