On September 19, Best Buy Canada took home the Best Large Retailer Transformation Award at the 2019 Canada Post E-Commerce Innovation Awards, beating out the likes of Hudson's Bay, LCBO, and Harry Rosen. Thierry Lopez, Manager, Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Quebec, and Joe Colucci, Territory Leader, Central Canada, accepted the award at a gala in Toronto last night.
This award recognizes retailers who have reengineered and reenergized their business for the digital age, setting themselves up for continued growth. This marks the first year Best Buy Canada has received this award, having previously won the Omnichannel award in 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018, before the slate of awards were revamped for 2019. This achievement speaks to our digital evolution and how it has revolutionized our Total Retail approach in delivering the best omnichannel experience to our customers, both online and in-store.
